New tools. Old questions.
MythOptics explores AI, cinema and sound — searching not for noise, but for resonance.

A New Era
"Something wonderful is going to happen." - HAL 9000
Right now, the most visible effect of AI is not brilliance, but noise: synthetic clutter, imitation, and a growing pollution of the internet and social media. We are all learning how to live with that. There is no blueprint for this moment, because this moment is historically new. And yet beneath the flood, a real creative shift is taking shape. The tools are new. The questions are not: What matters? What lasts? What is worth keeping?
TV & Film Editing
From early home computers to Hollywood trailers,
my work has always been about rhythm, emotion and impact. After decades in editing — from commercials and TV to major studio campaigns — I now combine classical craft with AI-driven exploration. The tools may change. The search for goosebumps does not.

AI-Mining
I often think of prompting as a form of excavation: direction, instinct, trial and error. Some attempts reveal striking results. Others lead nowhere. I use AI not to automate imagination, but to uncover images, moods and possibilities worth developing further.
Gallery
A visual archive of experiments, reconstructions and cinematic studies — from AI-generated scenes to hybrids shaped through editing, prompting and selection. Some images remain sketches. Others become part of a larger language.
Example: Young Woman in Netherlandish Dress (The Metropolitan Museum of Art, public domain).
